Ajman TV in February launched a new daily Free to Air entertainment segment called '729'.

729 feature wide array of entertainment programmes delivering a mix bag of explosive soaps, blockbuster films, music competitions and countdowns, interviews with well-known personalities, and coverage of live events and activities and embodies the spirit of UAE. 729 aims to serve as a channel for its very own expatriate and local community.

729 will draw on the state-of -the art technical facilities in use at Ajman Studios for quality broadcasting and viewing in the UAE.

The Way Forward

Capitalising on its USP for a Free to Air segment 729 will showcase highly successful Indian Soaps with Arabic subtitles thus catering to both the expatriate and local communities.

The soaps confirmed to be aired include Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. The two biggest blockbusters of Indian television that have attained the highest TRPs ever achieved to date by tele serials.
